In the photo above taken on 21 February 2000, a crowd gathers and a tarpaulin covers the War Dog Memorial sculpture prior to its dedication ceremony.
Above is a view of the crowd attending the dedication of the War Dog Memorial in the courtyard of the museum. As a black tarpaulin covers the sculpture, a slight rain fell as everyone listened to comments of a former military dog handler.

Above are some of the light brown tiles that have been placed near the sculpture. The museum is taking orders for those who want to purchase these inscribed tiles.
